A real Californian
We took AJ to Carlsbad Beach last weekend to introduce him to sand and salt water. He wasn't too sure what to think about it...it was all a bit overwhelming for the 4 1/2 month old. At least daddy and him got a good nap out of it.
A fellow beachgoer walked by while they were sleeping, looked at me and whispered, "Isn't that beautiful?"

That looks like so much fun - what a cutie! We have yet to get Matthew in a pool, let alone the beach - fun times to come!
Too cute! Can't wait to be back in San Diego to see you and AJ and of course the beach... We will have to take him for a stroll down Mission Beach (sans skateboards though).
