M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E

AJ had the privilege of visiting the Happiest Place on Earth at the ripe old age of 6 months. It will be a trip that he will remember for the rest of his life. Ha! Disneyland is definitely not made for babies but we couldn't resist a free trip. The first ride he went on was Pirates. He really liked the big drops and the guy with the muddy foot. He LOVED the Tiki Room but wanted nothing to do with Heimlich's Chew Chew Train (see above pic). We didn't make it on any roller coasters (sigh) but we saw some killer shows (It's a Bugs Life 3D) and AJ got his first set of Mickey ears.

And to top it all off, AJ met his birthday buddy, Vincent. We met Vincent and his parents on the parking lot tram. We noticed that Vincent and AJ looked similar in age and discovered that they were born on the same day, same hour, and same minute! He was born in OC though.

My Dad is the coolest!

Yup, that's right. My dad took me to the US Open on Friday to watch some INCREDIBLE golf. We almost saw 2 of the rarest golf shots...a hole-in-one and a double eagle (I mean like inches from them happening). I wasn't sure I would enjoy watching golf live because my golf knowledge is limited but it was truly an amazing experience. What was even more phenomenal than Tiger's mad skills was watching the THOUSANDS of people follow him for 18 holes. His entourage was ginormous.

Not only is my dad a GENEROUS man, he is one of the most selfless human beings I have ever met. He reminds me of Daniel. God gave Daniel wisdom, insight, and power and yet Daniel remained grounded in his convictions and rightly related to God. My dad has worked extremely hard to become a successful businessman and yet you would never know it by his lifestyle. He puts himself aside for the good of others every day. One example I have of this was before my wedding. My dad took ballroom dance classes (he would rather clean public park toilets than dance) with me for a couple months so we could do a stellar waltz during our father-daughter dance.

I could blog forever about how cool my dad is but work calls. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY. I LOVE YOU.
